VibeBoy Pro: Kids Build Games with Real AI – 2-Year Unlimited Pro Usage
Most kids already know what makes a game fun. VibeBoy teaches them how to build one.
Your child describes the game they want, something like "a fishing game where I catch a giant carp to save the village." Byte, VibeBoy's AI tutor, writes it in real code, and the game runs right away on a virtual console your child designed. That's where the learning starts. They ask Byte how the code works, change a number, run it again and see what happened. One small change at a time, they learn how games and programs are put together.
What your child learns
- Coding basics in JavaScript: variables, if statements, loops and functions
- How games work: the game loop, collisions, score, lives, winning and losing
- Math they can see: x and y coordinates on a 128 by 128 pixel screen, speed and direction
- Debugging. Byte can playtest a game and point out what's broken in plain words.
- AI literacy: how to give an AI clear instructions and how to check what it gives back
- Game design: characters, levels, rules and a story of their own
How the learning works
Kids start with three short tutorial games. The first teaches the controls, the second shows how one line of code moves a character, and the third builds a full game with score, lives and a game over.
From there they make their own games, either from an idea or from one of 18 starter templates like Catch the Stars, Space Blaster and Tower Defense. Whenever something doesn't make sense, they press "How does it work?" and Byte explains the code step by step. They can also tap the ? next to any single line to see what it does.
The arcade has more than 50 games made by the CircuitMess team. Kids can open any of them, press Remix and change it. Reading someone else's code and making it their own is one of the best ways to learn. Every game runs on a console your child designs, with 4 shapes, 8 colors, custom buttons, screen frames and stickers.
Why Pro
The free plan allows 5 questions to Byte every 6 hours. That's enough to try VibeBoy, not enough to build anything big. Pro raises the limit to 200 an hour and adds Deep Mode, where Byte takes more time on hard problems. This listing covers 24 months of Pro for one payment. It doesn't renew, so there's nothing to cancel.
Getting started
- Place your order with your program funds. VibeBoy is digital, so nothing ships.
- Check your inbox. We email you right after your purchase, at the address on the order.
- A parent creates the account at vibeboy.circuitmess.com with that same email. Pro is already switched on.
Sign up with Google, or use an email and password and confirm the address. Pro is added once the email is confirmed. Accounts are made by someone 16 or older, and your child plays and builds in that account.
Built for kids
Byte is instructed to keep every game kid-friendly. There are no ads. Comments open once an account is 7 days old, and an AI checks each one before anyone sees it. Byte runs on Anthropic's AI through Google Cloud, and both companies' business terms say chats aren't used to train AI models.
What you need
A Chromebook, laptop or tablet with a modern web browser and an internet connection. Nothing to download or install. Kids should be comfortable reading at about a 3rd grade level.
